byloiclabs takes the protection of visitors' and prospects' personal data seriously. This policy explains what data is collected via the site byloiclabs.com (the "Site"), why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection law.
1. Data Controller
The data controller for data collected via the Site is Loïc Arizmendi, Entrepreneur Individuel (EI), trading as byloiclabs. SIRET: 848 349 874 00026. 2. Data Collected
Contact form
Name, email address, and any information freely provided in the message.
Booking system (Calendly)
Name, email address, chosen time slot, and any information requested by the tool at the time of booking.
Navigation on the Site
Navigation data collected via cookies or trackers, only if such trackers are installed at a later date and after consent has been obtained (see section 7).
Technical hosting
IP address and technical logs, automatically collected by the hosting infrastructure (Framer / AWS) for security and to ensure the Site functions properly.
The Site is not intended to collect sensitive data (health, political or religious opinions, etc.). We ask that you not include such data in the contact form or when booking an appointment. No banking data is requested either, as the Site does not offer online payment.
3. Purposes of Processing
The data above is used to: respond to requests sent via the contact form; organize and confirm appointments booked via the booking tool; ensure the security, stability, and proper technical functioning of the Site; where applicable, if audience measurement or advertising tools are installed at a later date and after consent has been obtained, measure Site traffic and the performance of advertising campaigns (see section 7 on cookies). No data is used for automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.
4. Legal Basis
Contact form and booking: performance of pre-contractual steps taken at the request of the data subject (art. 6.1.b of the GDPR), or byloiclabs' legitimate interest in responding to requests addressed to it (art. 6.1.f).
Technical hosting logs: legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper functioning of the Site (art. 6.1.f).
Non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising), once in place: prior user consent (art. 6.1.a), obtained via a consent banner.
Commercial outreach (where applicable): byloiclabs' legitimate interest in promoting its services to professionals whose contact details were collected in a professional context (art. 6.1.f), with the ability to opt out at any time (see section 7 bis).
5. Data Recipients
The data collected is intended for Loïc Arizmendi (byloiclabs) and, where applicable, the following technical service providers, who act as data processors within the meaning of the GDPR:
Framer B.V. (Singel 258, 1016 AB Amsterdam, Netherlands): Site hosting, infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS);
Calendly LLC (United States): management of appointment bookings;
where applicable, any traffic analysis or advertising tool activated at a later date (see section 7).
This data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
6. Transfers Outside the European Union
Certain data may be transferred to servers located outside the European Union, notably to the United States, in two cases:
Hosting: the hosting provider's content delivery network (CDN) may result in a technical transfer of certain data (notably the IP address) to servers located outside the European Union.
Booking: the Calendly tool (Calendly LLC, a US company) may result in a data transfer to the United States.
These transfers are governed by the mechanisms provided for under applicable regulations, notably the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) of the European Commission and, where the provider concerned is eligible or certified, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. These mechanisms are designed to ensure an appropriate level of protection for transfers outside the EU.
7. Cookies
As of today, the Site does not use any non-essential cookies or trackers subject to prior consent (audience measurement, advertising, social media).
If byloiclabs installs such trackers at a later date (for example, an analytics tool or an advertising pixel such as Meta Ads or LinkedIn Ads), this policy and the consent mechanism will be updated before they are activated. At that time: a consent banner will be displayed on first visit, allowing non-essential cookies to be accepted or refused; no non-essential cookie will be set before this explicit consent; the exact list of cookies used (name, purpose, retention period, publisher) will be detailed in this section; users will be able to withdraw their consent at any time via the cookie management module or their browser settings.
Only cookies strictly necessary for the Site's technical operation (where applicable) may be set without prior consent, in accordance with applicable regulations.
7 bis. Commercial Outreach
As part of its B2B activity, byloiclabs may use professional contact details collected (for example, during an initial exchange) to send communications about its services, where applicable regulations allow it and on the basis of its legitimate interest. These communications relate to the professional role of the recipient. Every data subject has a simple, free right to object to any commercial outreach, exercisable at any time at byloiclabs@gmail.com or via the unsubscribe link included in each communication.
8. Retention Period
Contact form messages: data necessary to process a request is kept for as long as needed to handle it. Once a person is classified as a prospect, their data may then be retained for up to three years from the prospect's last contact, in accordance with CNIL recommendations.
Booking data: kept for as long as needed to manage the appointment, then deleted or archived following the same retention periods as above.
Technical hosting logs: retained according to the host's retention policy (generally up to 30 days), unless longer retention is needed for security purposes.
Data from cookies, once activated: kept for a maximum of 13 months in accordance with CNIL recommendations, unless a different period is specified at the time of activation.
9. Data Security
byloiclabs implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect collected data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration, notably by relying on providers (Framer/AWS) contractually bound to comply with the GDPR (data processing agreement).
10. Your Rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data: right of access (obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and a copy of it); right to rectification (correct inaccurate or incomplete data); right to erasure (request deletion of your data, within the limits provided by law); right to restriction of processing; right to object, notably to processing based on legitimate interest or for outreach purposes; right to portability of the data you provided; right to withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on it (for example, non-essential cookies).
To exercise these rights, you may contact byloiclabs by email at byloiclabs@gmail.com, specifying your request and, if necessary, attaching proof of identity. You will receive a response within one month at most. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL): www.cnil.fr.
11. Changes to this Policy
byloiclabs reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, particularly to reflect the activation of new tools (cookies, online payment system, etc.) or to comply with regulatory changes. The applicable version is the one in effect when the Site is accessed.
